Awards and grants available through SIE National Office are listed below.
Chapter of the Year
Chapter of the Year is awarded to the chapter that most exemplifies the SIE mission and purpose. Some considerations for this award include:
Chapters should prepare a “portfolio” or professional folder with the
above information and any supplemental material to the national office at the

Local Chapter Grants
Local chapters may apply for grants from the SIE National Office to establish
or aid in the development of programs that support the SIE mission. Submit a
written proposal listing the type of program, itemized list of funds needed, and
a statement of support from the chapter advisor. The national office will
determine the amount of the grant to be awarded based on the proposal. Please
refer to the Local
Chapter Grants form
to ensure complete information is submitted.
The following National Scholar Awards are available through the SIE National Office.
Undergraduate National Scholar Awards
Undergraduate members may apply for academic National Scholar Awards by
submitting an Undergraduate
National Scholar Awards Application
. Send the application, a
certified transcript, and a letter of recommendation from the local chapter
faculty advisor (or other faculty member in your college), to the national
office at the address below.

The national office may award National Scholar Awards to the top five students in the amount of $1,000, and depending on the number and quality of applications received, two or more additional National Scholar Awards in the amount of $250 - $500.
To determine award recipients, special attention will be given to the following:
Submissions must be postmarked by the last business day in May of the current academic year. Please refer to the application to ensure complete information is submitted.
Dr. Keith Davis Graduate Scholarship
Any masters or doctoral student who is an active member of SIE may submit a
scholarly paper on an appropriate and timely management topic for review by the
SIE National Office to apply for this scholarship. The national office will
award one the first place paper a scholarship in the amount of $1,250, and
depending on the number and quality of papers received, two or more 2nd place
scholarships in the amount of $250 - $500. Please review the Scholarship

Operation Enterprise
Operation Enterprise is a leadership conference specifically for young adults offered by the American Management Association (AMA). The SIE National Office awards scholarships for students to attend this conference based on scholastic achievement and demonstration of leadership ability. Notification of the conference, along with criteria for scholarships to attend, will be sent to the local chapter advisor each year. The advisor should forward this information to the local chapter president to distribute to active members. The scholarship to Operation Enterprise covers tuition, room & board, and transportation to and from the conference.
